New Release

On October 3rd, Sevier County Sheriff's Deputy Kristen Reed was dispatched to the Dollar General store in Horatio in reference to a possible shoplifter.

When Reed arrived, she was informed that two male suspects were in the store and the reporting party thought they were shoplifting. He described the two men for Reed and told her that there were other people with them, but they were outside in a green SUV.

Reed contacted Deputy Nicole Nealy and she drove past the store. Nealy reported she saw the suspects vehicle with the two suspects standing beside it. She then advised dispatch that the two suspects who were expected of shoplifting started walking south and the other two subjects started walking north.

Deputy Wendell Randall detained the two subjects who were walking north and Nealy detained the two suspects who were walking south.

After returning the suspects to the store and watching the surveillance video, both James McCullom and 24-year-old Austin Moore of De Queen were taken into custody and charged with shoplifting.
