02/06/2023 Person of Interest in Shooting
On February 5, 2023, deputies with the Sevier County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to Sevier County in reference to a 57-year-old female being treated for a gunshot wound to the head. After further investigation, search warrants were applied for and granted for the victim's residence located in Horatio, AR. Special Agents with the Arkansas State Police along with deputies and investigators with the Sevier County Sheriff's Office executed the search warrants. Evidence was collected and the investigation is still ongoing. The suspect wanted for questioning in regard to this incident is 28-year-old Kaylee Cornet.
